Recently Rated Castello di Ama Wines

From Wine Spectator's blind tastings

Along with the San Lorenzo, Castello di Ama bottles other single-vineyard wines, Bellavista and Casuccia, in outstanding vintages. A small parcel of Merlot in Bellavista goes into a super Tuscan single-variety bottling called l’Apparita. Another super Tuscan, Haiku, blends Sangiovese with Cabernet Franc and Merlot. On the more affordable end of the spectrum, a new Chianti Classico, simply named Ama, was added to the lineup in the 2010 vintage to make use of the more recently planted vines.
